Ellen Crosby,71

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Ellen Marie (Crandell) Crosby, 71, of North Adams died on Friday, February 24, 2023 at home surrounded by family. She was born in North Adams on May 10, 1951 a daughter of James & Annabell (Goodell) Crandell.

Ellen attended local schools in North Adams and was primarily a homemaker. Ellen was devoted to her family. She enjoyed spending time with them, going to tag sales, riding her scooter down Route 2. Ellen leaves a biological daughter Laura Crosby (Brown) and her husband Ralph and a biological son Alan Crosby (Elizabeth Beagle) and many other children including Larayssa (Justin) and Brianna Crosby, Tammy and Jessica of North Adams, Kenyon Brooks, Sam and Sarah Whitney, son in laws Scott Forest and David Choquette and also many grandchildren including Henry (Norma), Dylan, Kayla, Bonnie, Richard, Makenzy, Joey and many great grandchildren and a loving best friend, Kathy Braman.

Ellen was predeceased by a great grandson Jude Decker, grandson Steven Brown, and many brothers and sisters.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Celebration of life for Ellen Crosby will be on March 6, 2023 from 4-6 PM at Living Hope Community Church, 45 River Street North Adams. The family invites you to come celebrate their amazing mother, and to bring a dish if you wish. Donations may be made to Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA 01247.
