I'm so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was very helpful to me and my sister during a difficult transitional time in our lives. Her act of kindness has never left me. She was a bright light during dark days. May her light continue to shine and help you in your time of grief.

To Mrs. Witto's entire family,
Growing up in Clarksburg I knew Mrs. Witto. She was always cheerful and never had a cross word. She was one of the nicest people I ever knew. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Auntie Nan…my other mother.?? Cathy and Heather, I am so sorry for your loss. It’s really hard to think of a favorite memory. Sleep overs, after school…it’s hard to think of just one favorite memory. I’m remembering parties at your house and Auntie Nan’s Scottish brogue getting thicker as the night went on. We are all better people because of knowing Auntie Nan. ??

So very sorry for your loss. I taught with Nan at Gabriel Abbott many years ago. She always had a smile on her face and a song in her heart. Bless her.

Mrs. Witto was my kindergarten and first grade teacher at Gabriel Abbott Elementary in Florida. I remember her as kind, warm, and she made me love learning. I still remember her fancy convertible!

Remember Nan well from choir days with Ralph Domin in the NA Congregational Church. She had a beautiful singing voice and sang the soprano solos. As I moved from Childrens Choir to High School Choir, then to Senior Choir she was always there and her children sang with mine in the lower choirs. Lovely, cheerful, smiling presence.

The Berkshires lost a beautiful, vibrant, talented and engaging woman. We believe that Nan was put on this earth to teach young children. She loved her kids and went that extra mile to assure success in her class; she bonded with her students and made learning fun. Nan was always available to parents and even made that interaction enjoyable. Our three kids are successful and wonderful adults, thanks to Nan Witto. May God bless her in her eternal life.

Heather, Cathy & Family, My deepest condolences on your loss. I have such fond memories having spent more time at your house as a young teenager than my own! Your mom welcomed me, fed me (still remember her cheesecake), let me sleep over all of the time and was always joyful! And who could forget her love of the convertible!
May her memories live on in your hearts!
