NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —
Mr. Lawrence A. “Larry” Lescarbeau, Jr., 67, of North Adams, died Friday afternoon, December 16, 2022 at Hillcrest Commons in Pittsfield. He was born in North Adams on December 8, 1955, a son of the late Lawrence A. Lescarbeau and Claire (Lescarbeau) Lescarbeau Presnell. He attended North Adams schools and graduated from C.H. McCann Technical High School with the Class of 1975.
Larry worked with his father in the family business, L.A. Lescarbeau and Sons Woodworking and also worked for various construction companies in the area.
He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, North Adams. He enjoyed woodworking and being a handyman, fixing things and working on cars.
He is survived by two daughters, Candice Streeper and her husband Larry of Meridianville, AL; and Lilybeth Lescarbeau of North Adams; two grandchildren, Markida Streeper of Gastonia, NC and Chace Streeper of Meridianville, AL; two great grandchildren, Riley and Serenity Tate of Gastonia, NC; four brothers, Steven Lescarbeau and his wife Leslie of Clarksburg; Wayne Presnell and his wife Janine of Lucas, OH; Robert Lescarbeau and his wife Penny of Greenville, SC; and Paul Lescarbeau and his wife Neisa of Readsboro, VT; four sisters, Lisa Willis and her husband Wesley of Johnson City, TN; Denise Lemieux and her husband Paul of Clarksburg; Dianne Brazeau and her husband Brian of Florida; and Laurie Gray and her husband Patrick of Florida, MA; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
services will be held on Friday, Jan. 6th, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours are Friday, Jan. 6th from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lilybeth Lescarbeau, C/O Greylock Federal Credit Union, 131 Ashland Street, North Adams, MA 01247.
