I first met the Bishop family when I coached John in basketball when he was a student at McCann. John’s determination and high character indicated to me the high quality family that he belonged to. I only met Joy through John, and knowing she raised 12 children makes her a stand out in my mind. John and I stay in contact, and I know Joy will be dearly missed by her family and many others. She left quite a legacy.
