M. John Storey, 79

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — With humility, grace, peace and the loving joy of his family's constant presence, M. John Storey, 79, of Williamstown passed ahead on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022.

He lived his life with passion, guided by Camp Dudley's motto: "The other fellow first."

John is survived by his loving wife, Martha — friend, girlfriend, wife, co-parent, teammate, business partner, life companion, caregiver and true love since 1956 (married in 1965). John's three children — Jennifer (Jack) Gillis of St. Louis, Jessica (Blair) Dils of Williamstown and Matthew (Jessica) Storey, Westport, N.Y. — and 10 grandchildren inherit his many gifts.

John wrote: "So I say, 'Carpe Diem' regularly to each of my beloved family and to my friends ...Your faith may not change the world. But, it will almost certainly change your life." Remember to "keep telling the stories."
