Carol Elizabeth McDonough, 84

ADAMS, Mass. — Carol Elizabeth McDonough, formerly Carol Elizabeth Dubis of San Antonio, Texas, age 84, peacefully passed away on Sept. 2, 2022, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. 

Carol was born on May 3, 1938, in Adams the child of Stanley and Amelia Dubis.

She graduated from Adams High School Class of 1956, and graduated from Regis College in Weston where she met her husband Jim whom she married Oct. 20, 1962.

Carol is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jim, of San Antonio, Texas, her son, James (Jamie) McDonough (Anna Lisa) of Durango, Colorado, and daughter, Beth McDonough Bonham (Warren) of Southlake, Texas. 

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Austen McDonough, Elizabeth McDonough Quinn (Christian), and Sam, Patrick, and Ian Bonham as well as her brother, Stanley Dubis of Adams, and her sister, Nancy Ford of Salem, and several nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Amelia Dubis.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the San Antonio Alzheimer's Association, Alz.org/sanantonio. Services will be held in San Antonio, Texas Oct. 29, 2022, at the Sunset North Funeral Home.
