Cecelia Peterson, 84

Cecelia Ann (Morehouse) Peterson, 84 of Clarksburg MA, died October 5, 2022 at her home.

She was born in North Adams, MA on October 2, 1938, a daughter of Francis Samuel Morehouse and Alice Elizabeth (Thomann) Morehouse. She graduated St. Joseph’s High School. Cecelia married Eskil Stevens Peterson on February 7, 1959.

Cecelia worked for JT Bus Lines for 28 years as a bus driver for local area schools. She was a communicant of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church. Cecelia was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. On her free time, Cecelia enjoyed doing word searches and watching old television shows on ME TV.

Survivors include four sons Gene F. Peterson of Readsboro VT, Eric V. Peterson of North Adams, Kevin J. Peterson of Clarksburg, and Steven H. Peterson of Clarksburg. She also leaves a sister Jacqueline Luczynski of the State of Florida, brother Vincent Morehouse, as well as many grand and great grandchildren. Cecelia is predeceased by her husband Eskil Stevens Peterson, son Eskil “Pete” Peterson Jr, her grandson, Thomas Peterson; two brothers William and Samuel Morehouse, and her beloved cat Max.

There are no words to make your loss and pain go away. If I could take your pain away I would in a minute.she was an amazing woman which i had the honor of knowing and I'll forever cherish those moments her stories from her kids growing up being a bus driver and just her wisdom about life itself.
