Anna Rondeau,99

 

 

Anna Joanna (Zontini) Rondeau, 99 of Stamford, VT died on Thursday September 15, 2022 at Crescent Manor in Bennington, Vermont.

Anna was born in North Adams on February 11, 1923 a daughter of Antonio & Adelaide (Furlan) Zontini. Anna graduated from Drury High School. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great- great grandmother.

Anna was a longtime communicant of St. John Bosco Church in Stamford where she was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann Society and taught CCD for several years. She was a member of the Stamford Senior Club and very much enjoyed the gatherings and luncheons.

Anna was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Napoleon Rondeau on April 16, 2000; they were married on September 23, 1944. Anna is survived by her daughters, Susan Bailey (Charles), Irene Mineau, Annette Caruso (Anthony), and Elaine DeMasi (Paul). She also leaves her sons, Roger Rondeau (Rosetta), Joseph Rondeau (Theresa), David Rondeau, and Richard Rondeau (Tracey). Anna leaves 21 grandchildren, and several great & great great grandchildren.She was predeceased by a daughter Helen Bombardier who died May 16, 2006.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A funeral to celebrate the life of Anna Rondeau will be on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. John Bosco Church in Stamford, VT, burial will follow in Millard Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 8:30-10:30 AM at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home- WEST CHAPEL 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA 01247. So sorry to hear about your mother. I remember Susan, Roger and Joseph as fifth and sixth graders from my few years as a teacher at the new (then) Stamford School. Anna lived a long life and was blessed with a large family.
