NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Jeffrey A. Moon Sr. 61, of North Adams, MA. died Tuesday September 6, 2022 at Berkshire Medical Center surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jeffrey was born in North Adams on April 4, 1961 a son of the late Beatrice (Ellsworth) Moon and Carl Moon Sr. and attended local schools. He enjoyed the outdoors, but mostly treasured the time spent with family and friends. Jeffrey was a genuinely good guy and would do anything for anyone.

He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Moon Jr. and Jordan Moon both of North Adams; sisters, Cheryl (Al) Leavitt of Conway, SC.; Tammy (Randy) Poirot of Florida, MA; and a brother, Carl Moon Jr. He also leaves his beloved grandchildren, Jared, Madison, Reilley, Jeffrey, Alex, Justin, Joshua and several nieces, nephews as well as his friend and ex wife Marcia Moon. He was predeceased by his daughter Jennifer (Moon) Lefebvre, mother Beatrice (Ellsworth) Moon and father Carl Moon Sr.

Calling hours for Jeffrey A, Moon Sr. will take place Friday September 16, 2022 at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, from 4-7 p.m. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday September 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at North Adams VFW 573 Mohawk Trail, North Adams, MA. Burial will be private in the family plot in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown, MA. Memorial donations are suggested for PopCares P.O. Box 482, Williamstown, MA. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our family, friends, and local health organizations that gave us help, support, and genuine care during Jeff's bout with cancer. Without you our struggle would've been so much worse. Jeff will be remembered for the kindness he showed to many and the unconditional love he had for family. He was quite a guy and his absence is felt. We take comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering and that he's found peace. Again, thanks to all... Jeff's family

Jeff & Jordan, I am sorry to learn of the passing of your Father.
