Rafael Michael Rivera 42, of Pittsfield and formerly of North Adams died April 21, 2022 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. He was born in Long Branch, New Jersey on November 10, 1979 a son of the late Barbara (Brooks) Rivera and Raphael Rivera. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Survivors include his grandmother Joan (McCann) Brooks of North Adams a sister Angela Hathaway of North Adams and a brother James E. Darby of New Jersey.

Private burial will take place in the family plot in St. Joseph Cemetery. The Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA are in care of arrangements.
