Justin Cameron,27

POWNAL, Vt. —

Justin James Cameron 27, of Pownal, VT, loving son of James David Cameron Jr. and Kimberly (Boucher) Cameron, passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2022 following an ATV accident. Although Justin was taken far too soon, his passion and kindness will continue to be a light for all who knew him.

Justin graduated from McCann High School in North Adams and the Marion Technical School in Marion Ohio in 2013. A determined young man, he entered the utility world with National Grid in 2014 and achieved his journeyman lineman status in 2018, a position he was proud to attain.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved riding motorcycles, hunting and fishing. He had a passion for rebuilding classic motors and for his beautifully restored 1969 Chevrolet pickup truck that he was eager to drive this spring. Justin purchased his dream property, a remote, sprawling piece of land adorned with a log home where he loved to host family and friends with his smoker and grill masterpieces.

Survivors include his loving parents James and Kimberly Cameron of Clarksburg, maternal grandmother Judith (Sweeney) Boucher of Williamstown, paternal grandparents James and Deborah (Abate) Cameron of Williamstown and girlfriend Justine Slade and her family. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers and friends. He was predeceased by a brother Matthew Ryan Deane who died in 2017.

Calling hours for Justin James Cameron will take place Wednesday April 27, 2022 from 10: 00 am to 2:00 pm at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in the family plot in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown, MA. Memorial donations are suggested for the Justin J. Cameron Memorial Scholarship through the funeral home. My heart breaks for your whole family. Justin was such a nice guy and you all were great neighbors. We have many great memories to cherish like the time he when he was six and decided he would give Natiya his baby blanket because he thought he had outgrown it. He touched many lives in a wonderful way and will be sorely missed.
