Eleanor (Beaupre) Robinson, 98

ADAMS, Mass. —

Eleanor Mae (Beaupre) Robinson, 98, of Adams, MA, known to her family and friends as “Gram,” entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Williamstown Commons.

Eleanor was born to the late Adolphus and Gertrude (Brown) Beaupre in North Adams, MA on March 3, 1924, the oldest of five children. Throughout her life, she enjoyed many adventures with her sisters and brother and always had the best stories to share with her family.

Eleanor attended school in Adams and worked several years in the Hoosac Valley High School cafeteria.

Eleanor was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II and a longtime member of the former St. Thomas Aquinas and Rosary Sodality.

Eleanor adored her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild more than anything in this world. She loved spending her time outdoors, going swimming at Fish Pond and Windsor Pond, visiting with family and friends and attending various family sporting and school events. She was her family’s number one cheerleader. She never forgot a birthday and she had a special way of making you feel loved. She had the kindest heart and she would do anything for her family, friends and people she met throughout her life. She will be remembered for her incredible gift of gab and all of her funny stories. She was the greatest mom, gram, sister, aunt and friend. Her zest for life was infectious and she will be missed dearly. She truly was one in a trillion.

Eleanor will be deeply missed by her six children; Ralph Robinson Jr. and wife Frances of Cheshire, MA, James Robinson and wife Carol of Brick, NJ, Thomas Robinson and wife Brenda of Adams, MA, Gerald Robinson and wife Lori of North Port, FL, Michael Robinson and wife Ann of Port Charlotte, FL and her daughter Linda Bondini and husband Steve of Windsor, CT, as well as her sister, Dorothy Smith of Trenton, NJ.

She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Shona, Patti, James Jr., Jason, Benjamin, Kelly, Thomas Jr., Brian, Heather and Nathan as well as her beloved great-grandchildren, Sarah, Mitchell, Christie, Anabelle, Jakob, Luke, Benjamin, Cate, Mallory, Ethan, Joshua, Nicholas, Caleb, Everly, Natalie, Brendan and Landon and her beautiful great-great-grandchild, Brooke, as well as many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends whom she cherished.

Eleanor was predeceased by her brother Donald Beaupre, two sisters Betty Meyers and Shirley Wolfe, her niece Susan Wolfe and her nephew Richard Farnham Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be announced and held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Eleanor’s name to St. John Paul II Charity Center, 21 Maple Street, Adams, MA 01220.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Williamstown Commons for their care and compassion.

Ralph. I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. She was one great lady. I will always remember her with that great smile. I have memories of her making oatmeal in the morning for you and your brothers in the morning when sometimes i would go over waiting for you to get ready for school. She had that smile and way about her that you felt good after talking to her. She will surely be missed. Norm

Ralph & Fran,
So sorry to read of your mother's passing. I always loved seeing her with her sisters at Windsor Lake. They seemed so happy to be together. Shirley was a friend of mine. May the happy times never be forgotten and may she rest in peace.
Fondly,
Jane
