Bonnie Ann Andrews, 77

ADAMS, Mass. — Bonnie Ann Mikna Andrews 77, of Adams, died Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Berkshire Medical Center. 

She was born in Pittsfield on April 19, 1944, the daughter of George and Sophie Dydynczuk Mikna.

Bonnie graduated from Pittsfield High School and Salve Regina College in Newport, R.I., where she obtained a degree in business. She was employed as the town clerk of Lanesborough and later for the State of Florida Health Department in Leesburg. 

She loved crafting and bingo and was an active member of the Mary Spitzer Center in North Adams and a regular donor to the Humane Society.

Her husband, Wayne Leroy Andrews, whom she married on March 5, 1962, died July 4, 2016. 

Survivors include her loving children Cynthia Cooper (William Jr.) of North Adams and Wayne Leroy Andrews Jr. of North Adams; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and her companion, Jim Cables of North Adams. She also leaves her devoted dog Sheba. She was predeceased by great-grandchildren Coby and Maddison Bostwick.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Graveside services will take place on Friday, April 1, at Eastlawn Cemetery in Williamstown at 1 p.m. followed by a potluck reception at the Wheel Estates recreation hall in North Adams. Memorial donations are suggested for the Berkshire Humane Society through Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247. I'm sad to have come across this obituary. My symptoms to Bonnie's family and Jim. She was a dedicated volunteer and I had the opportunities to enjoy her company when I was working at the Senior Center in Adams. We were grateful for her commitment to us.

God Bless Bonnie, she was often at our shows her and Jim. So sorry, you will be missed many years of friendship since your sister in law Merle, was also my sister in law. Married to my odest brother Charles E. Many wonderful memories. Thank you for being at so many shows. Rest in Peace . So sorry family, Jackie and all. God Bless!

i am very sorry to hear that Bonnie passed away. I will keep her in prayer during this time. She was such a wonderful lady know her from the Spruce's. I also saw her playing bingo at the Elk's in North Adams with her daughter. She always had a smile on her face when you saw her. I also send out my condolences to the whole family. I did not know her that good but she was a nice lady to talk too. She always walked her dog in the park and said hi to everybody she saw. Wendy
