John S. "Yon" Czubryt, Jr., 71

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Mr. John S. “Yon” Czubryt, Jr., 71, of Adams, died on Monday, March 7, 2022 at his home.

He was born in Adams on September 3, 1950, a son of Gladys (Biros) Czubryt and the late John Czubryt. He attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams Memorial High School with the class of 1968.

Mr. Czubryt last worked at Steinerfilm in Williamstown for many years until retiring. Earlier he had worked for the former Arnold Print Works in Adams.

He was a member of the Massachusetts National Guard. He was an avid New England sports fan, enjoyed playing softball and was a member of the Adams Softball League.

Besides his mother of Adams, he is survived by his son, Keith Czubryt of Dalton; his daughter Carly Hardell and her husband Jay of Danielson, CT; three brothers, Robert Czubryt and his wife Sandy of Adams, Mark Czubryt of Cheshire and Ronald Czubryt of Chicago; two grandchildren, Caroline and Jacob Hardell; his former wife, Donna Kondel; one niece and one nephew.

The funeral will be held on Friday, March 18th at 11:00 A.M. in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams.

Burial will be private at a later date.

Calling hours are Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Jon was a good friend when I was growing up . We all hung around on Summer St . It was a group of fun loving guys .I remember he could run like a deer, he and Jerry Lamb combined for many touchdowns for Adams High .The good they all die young
