Marilyn T. Wojieck, 84

ADAMS, Mass. —Mrs. Marilyn Theresa (Girard) Wojieck, 84, of Adams, died Thursday morning, March 10, 2022 at her home. She was born in North Adams on February 23, 1938, a daughter of the late Valmore and Doris (Hifko) Girard. She attended North Adams schools, graduating from the former St. Joseph’s High School. Marilyn worked at the former Waverly Fabrics in Adams, retiring when the mill closed. She was a communicant of St. John Paul II Parish, and the former St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Adams. She enjoyed going to her beach house on the Jersey Shore, trips to the casinos, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Edward M. Wojieck, whom she married on August 11, 1956; three daughters, Susan Hartman and her husband, Stephen of Heartwellville, VT; Debra Vincelette and her husband, Craig, of North Adams, and Sharon McClusky and her husband, Michael, of Lee; four grandchildren, Ryan Hartman, Dr. Amber Hartman Brown and her husband, Terry; Jared Vincelette, and Jason Vincelette and his fiancé, Hannah Nuvallie; two brothers, Valmore Girard and his wife, Barbara, and Glenn Girard and his wife, Sandy, both of Clarksburg; a sister, Shirley Kordana of Adams, as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 15th, at 10:00 AM from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Monday from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to any charity of the donor’s choice.
