Along with your family, many of us are deeply saddened. He leaves behind many good memories of his kindness to everyone who knew him. I always had deep respect for DENNIS because he always, without a doubt, gave me that same trust and respect. I will miss his "hey Dar" and our chats. I will miss him. I've seen many of the homes he built, he was very skilled, he took me along sometimes on his jaunts to Home Depot and Lowes and guided me through my choices. He had a like for Popeyes chicken. There are no words to take away the sadness we all feel, but as time passes it may lighten some. Sometimes I'd joke with him and call him grandpa because BEAU fathered my Bear's puppies. He knocked at my door one day , and gifted them with a large basket of Christmas gifts. 🎄 I'm quite sure he built his beautiful stairway to heaven. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Dear Donna and the entire Bernardi family,
I want to send my deepest heartfelt sympathy for the loss of Dennis. Gone too Soon!
His passing brought back a memory of our High School days. I was filing into the auditorium with my homeroom for an assembly. I knew Dennis would be in the balcony with his classmates, so I turned to sneak a peek at the “cute boy with gorgeous blue eyes” . Next thing I knew I tripped over a rug that was rolled up in the aisle. Yup! I fell flat on my face on the rug and my dress flew up over my head exposing my skinny behind. The balcony roared with laughter. Dennis and his friends were the loudest of all, as they leaned over the balcony only to have Mr. Trotter remind them of the “balcony and assembly” rules 🤣🤣
Good times. Great guy. Gone too soon.

My heart is broken for my Bernardi friends. Dennis was truly the kindest, most compassionate, loving person I have ever met. He would go out of his way to help anyone. If you hurt he hurt. He quietly did good for those less fortunate. He treated everyone like a best friend. May the way he lived his life be how he is remembered.
