Allen Vallieres,71

Allen Valmore Vallieres 71, of North Adams died Thursday February 24, 2022 at BMC North. He was born in North Adams on February 1, 1951 a son of Valmore and Barbara (Blair) Sturtevant. He was a decorated veteran of the United States Navy. Allen was employed for 30 years at Steinerfilm in Williamstown. He was last employed at Hobby World in Adams.

He enjoyed rc cars, fishing, cook outs, the outdoors and was a member of the Stamford Community Church in Stamford, VT.

Survivors include his wife Donna (Brown) Vallieres and children Jason Vallieres of Florida, Lee Vareschi (Michele) of North Adams, Jessica Deon (Lance) of Florida, Mandy Therrien (Michael),Katie Trala (Stan) and Kyle Vallieres all of North Adams. He also leaves grandchildren Savannah Vallieres, TJ, Owen Vareschi, Teia, Brace and Aspen Trala, Victoria, Kayla, Emily and Elizabeth Therrien, Nick, Adam, Alexandria, Skylar, Paige Deon and Asher Valleries, five grreat-grandchildren. Allen was predeceased by a son Justin Vallieres and brother Kevin Vallieres.

Funeral services will take place Saturday March 5, 2022 at 10:00a.m., at the Stamford Community Church in Stamford, VT. A calling hour at church is from 9-10 a.m. Memorial donations are suggested in his memory to the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. 01247. I condolences to Al's entire family. I worked with AL for many years at SteinerFilm. From the first day we met AL went out of his way to help me feel comfortable with my new job and we became good friends from day one. He was a really nice person. He will be missed.

Donna, I am so, so sorry to hear about Al. I have literally known him from diapers to death. I will have many happy memories of a beautiful lifetime friendship.
