James Randall, 88

James Alfred Randall, 88, of North Adams died on February 16, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. James was born in North Adams on April 15, 1933 a son of the late Warren & Susie (Cothran) Randall.

James attended schools in North Adams including Drury High School. He was employed by Heavy Highway Construction for many years, and was a member of the Laborer’s Union for 55 years. James was a member of St. Francis Church and the Williamstown Sportsman Club.

James was the widow of Barbara Jean (Parent) Randall whom he married on May 7, 1955. She died on February 26, 2003. James leaves his 4 children, James (Julie) Randall of North Adams, MA, Anthony (Cheryl) Randall of North Adams, MA, Lynn (Bernie) Pinnsonneault of Pownal, Vt. and Claudia Randall of North Adams, MA. He also leaves 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Trueman Randall, Richard Randall and Warren Randall and Kenneth Randall, sisters, Stella Malloy, Kathleen Hosier and a sister in infancy, Claudia Randall.

A prayer service for James Randall will take place on Thursday February 24, 2022 at 6:00p.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. Calling hours are from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested for Hospice Care of the Berkshires.
