Ray Cote, 76

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Ray Allen Cote, 76, of North Adams died on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Berkshire Medical Center.

Ray was born in North Adams, MA on August 5, 1945 a son of the late Rolland and Gladys (Whipple) Cote. Ray was a veteran of the US Navy during the peacetime era. Ray was employed by General Electric Company and then General Dynamics.

Ray was a member of St. Elizabeth Church, and enjoyed boating, motorcycle riding, spending time with his dogs and family; his wife and he were snowbirds for many years in Daytona, Florida.

Ray leaves his beloved wife, Doris (Worth) Cote whom he married on February 25, 1967 in Clarksburg. He also leaves his son, Tobe Cote of North Adams and David Cote & Veronica of Las Vegas. He also leaves his grandchildren, Kelsie Cote and Jake Cote; three sisters- Patricia Chapman, Barbara Sazron and Betty Ann Lesnick and two brothers, William Cote and John Elias.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Private graveside service with full military honors for Ray Cote will be on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Southview Cemetery, North Adams, MA. A celebration of Ray's life for family and close friends will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society through the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA .
