Raymond Piantoni,81

 

Raymond William Piantoni age 81 passed January 7, 2022. Survived by his wife Therese (Terry) Piantoni of 46 years; sons, Daniel Piantoni of Revere, Mass. and Matthew Piantoni of Pownal, Vermont; grandson, Will Piantoni; sisters Joan Griffin and Sylvia Blamberg; one cat, Boots;

He was an Army Veteran, a pilot, and was in the Civil Air Patrol. He was an avid reader, and golfer, and loved to travel. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday February 7, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Church in North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. A calling hour will take Monday from 10a.m. to 11a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, CENTERAL Chapels, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. We are so sorry to learn of Ray's passing. God was kind to take him quickly from his debilitating illness.
We have so many fond memories of Ray (and you) sharing your Vermont home with summer picnics and Christmas Eve get togethers. Always with family, and always full of love and fun. Thank you! Terry, I was heartbroken when Wendy told me of Ray's passing. I remember swimming at your pool when you lived in Vermont. And when you and Ray would come down to the house on Christmas Eve. Good times and memories. Sending you and your family well wishes and prayers.
