Brian A. Manoogian, 60

ADAMS, Mass. —  Brian A. Manoogian, 60, of Adams, MA died suddenly Sunday, December 26 at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born on December 11, 1961 to Joseph and Patricia (Brown) Manoogian, in New London, CT and as a teen, the family moved to Hoosick Falls, NY. He graduated from Hoosick Falls Central School in 1980. He then graduated from Hudson Valley Community College with a degree in HVAC in 1983.

He was employed for many years at Williams College, and most recently at Torrco Supply in Pittsfield.

He enjoyed golf at Waubeeka Golf Links where for many years he ran the Sunday Morning Group. He was a member of the Adams Lodge of Elks, including serving as their Exalted Ruler many times.

He is survived by his wife, Marissa M. Barschdorf, whom he married in 2018. His daughter, Briana Manoogian and her children, Aiden and Sophia, all of Adams, his son, Joseph E. Manoogian and his fiancé, Sara Blanchette, both of Cheshire. He is also survived by his siblings, Debra Myers and her husband Terrance of Grafton, NY, Jay Manoogian and his wife, Julie, of Newport Coast, CA, and Karin Kulas and her husband, John of Summerville, SC, a stepson, Preston Keller and his partner, Lindsay Moran, and her daughter, Brixton Moran, all of North Adams, and many nephews and cousins.

A service may be held at a later date in the spring or summer.
