Michael P. Dziok, 76

ADAMS, Mass. —  Mr. Michael P. Dziok, 76, of Adams, died on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton.

Michael was born in Adams on November 2, 1945, a son of the late Theodore and Veronica (Mazur) Dziok. He attended St. Stanislaus Elementary School in Adams and graduated from the former St. Joseph’s High School in North Adams. He then went on to earn his bachelor’s in mathematics from the former North Adams State College.

Mr. Dziok was drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He served in Georgia and Texas and had also served with centag in Germany as part of NATO.

He worked for the former Arnold Print Works in Adams before becoming a postal worker for the Adams Post Office where he met his beloved wife, the former Marilyn Clemo. He worked for the postal service for approximately 35 years until retiring.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Dziok of Adams; and by his daughter Betsy Balardini and her husband Thomas of Dalton.

He was predeceased by his brother Theodore Dziok.

Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
