Karen Sue Dorwin, 65
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Karen Sue Dorwin, 65, of North Adams, MA died Thursday November 11, 2021 at Berkshire Medical Center-North Adams.
She was born in North Adams, MA on December 17, 1955, a daughter of the late Francis Brown Dorwin and Arlene (Estes) Dorwin. She attended local schools including Drury High School. Karen also attended Mildred Elley School.
Karen was last employed by Berkshire Health Systems in Pittsfield where she worked for about 10 years. Prior to that, Karen worked for many years at K-Mart in North Adams and Bennington, VT. She enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Boston Red Sox baseball fan. Karen loved animals and also enjoyed music and interior decorating.
Survivors include her longtime companion- Peter D. Candiloro of North Adams and one brother- Daniel (Pamela) Dorwin of North Adams. She also leaves two nieces- Brittany and Samantha. She was predeceased by two brothers- Albert Dorwin and David Dorwin. Karen had fond memories of many picnics and gatherings with her family, cousins and extended family members.
