Dorothy I. Lauth, 84

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Mrs. Dorothy (Wolkowicz) Lauth, 84, of Adams, died on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Mount Carmel Care Center in Lenox.

She was born in Adams on February 3, 1937, a daughter of the late Andrew and Caroline (Bulsa) Wolkowicz. She attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams High School.

Mrs. Lauth worked for many years for the former Sprague Electric Company in North Adams until her retirement.

She was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams.

Dorothy loved to travel with her husband and enjoyed exploring the United States, Europe and going on cruises.

Her husband, Lawrence R. Lauth, whom she married on June 7, 1958, died on September 9, 2015.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Jozefiak and her husband Gary of Adams; two granddaughters, Sarah Jozefiak of Durham, NC and Lori O’Dell and her husband Kirk of Bennington, VT; a great granddaughter, Briella O’Dell; a sister Valerie Piantoni of Adams and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister Florence Segala.

The funeral will be held on Friday, November 19th at 12:00 NOON, the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams.

Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.

Calling hours are Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Face coverings are highly recommended for anyone attending.
