Sandra Koch, 73

Sandra Lee (Cook) Koch, 73 of North Adams, died on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Berkshire Medical Center. She was born in North Adams on November 30, 1947, the daughter of Harold Russell Cook and Priscilla (Boyer) Cook.

 Sandra was raised in North Adams, and graduated from Drury High School with the Class of 1965. She was employed at the Piano Shop on Eagle Street and was an accomplished musician, playing the organ. She was also a certified licensed travel agent. Sandra was the operator of her own independent child daycare for many years.She was actively involved in her sons youth sports teams, and was a coach for the North Adams Fire Department minor league baseball team. She also served on the Board of Directors for the North Adams Little League. Sandra was a communicant of St. Francis Church and enjoyed doing ceramics and had a strong love for all animals.

Sandra is survived by her adoring husband, Lawrence Lyle Koch, who she married on October 12, 1968. She also leaves behind two loving sons; Lawrence John “Duffy” Koch (Trisha) and Peter Alan Koch, both of North Adams. Sandra also leaves, two grandsons, Jonathon and Andrew Koch; 3 sisters, Patricia Kidney of Jacksonville, Vt, Andrea Therrien of North Adams, Jessica McCarron of North Adams and one brother Thomas Cook of Adams. She was predeceased by a sister Marcia Mongeon.

Calling hours for Sandra Koch will be held at Flynn & Dagnoli Home – WEST CHAPEL 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA on Friday November 12, 2021 from 5-6 PM at the funeral home, the family asks that everyone wear a mask. A service to celebrate her life will be at 6 pm at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society and Pop Cares.
