Robert Edwin Lee III, 67

Robert passed peacefully on Oct. 25 2021 at the McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester, Vt. after a 7 month battle with an aggressive bladder cancer, that spread throughout his abdomen. The Oncology department at the UVM Medical Center exhausted all measures to try and fend it off to no avail.

Robert was smart, intelligent, witty, handsome, respectful, wisenheimer, and one of the most patient people.  Robert was also a workaholic. In the 28 years he lived in Burlington, Vermont he had many jobs. He was a professional chef for 32 Years, resident manager for a Homeless Veterans Transitional Housing Program, and his last job working with Burlington's Homeless community with the COTS homeless organization.

Robert loved good music, playing pool, having a couple drinks now and again, and was becoming ever so much the romantic partner any woman would respect.

Robert leaves behind three brothers: William & Kyle Lefebvre of North Adams, and Andrew Lefebvre in Pittsfield; along with his two adult sons Michael and Eric; and his Life Partner of 28 years Christie Delphia, who was there until the final breath was taken.

Robert will be very missed in our community and our lives.

RIP You "Old Fart", until we meet again.

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Robert many years ago when he lived in North Adams. He always had a smile on his face and was just a great person.

I remember Robert from years ago on Liberty Street. He was surely a really nice person that I used to kid with a lot. I never knew where he ended up, but it was good to read that he made his life happy which I had no doubt. MY SYMPATHY to all he left behind.
