Marie C. Greenbush, 80
ADAMS, Mass. — Mrs. Marie Colomba (Picciuto) Greenbush, 80, of Adams, died Thursday morning, October 28, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Brockton, MA on December 2, 1940, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Uva) Picciuto. She graduated from Avon High School, and later graduated from the Brockton School of Beauty Culture. Marie operated her own beauty salon for many years, and had also worked at Canyon Ranch, Berkshire Beauty Salon, and the former Adele’s Beauty Salon in Adams. She was also a substitute instructor in the cosmetology program at C.H. McCann Technical School in North Adams for several years. She was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II, Adams. She was a member of the Red Hat Camellias of Berkshire County, where she served as its Queen for several years. She was also a former member of the Adams Turners. Her husband, Joseph F. Greenbush, Jr, whom she married on October 12, 1963, died on June 11, 2015. She is survived by her four daughters, Linda Cernik and her husband, Scott, of Adams; Lisa Greenbush of Cheshire; Jennifer Montalto and her husband, Joseph, of Rocky Hill, CT; and Marybeth Degen and her husband, Martin, of Suffield, CT; her six grandchildren- Daniel Cernik, Justin Degen, Leah Degen, Lucas Degen, Anna Montalto and Maggie Montalto; her sister, Linda Picciuto-Allan and her husband, Jeff; and her two brothers Lou Picciuto and his partner, Sherry, and John Picciuto, all of Spring Hill FL; several nieces and nephews, her grand puppies Penny Marie, Milo, Paisley, Parker and Toby, and grand cat Twister. She was predeceased by Lisa’s fiancé, Ron Boody, Jr. The funeral will be held on Saturday, November 6th, at 11:00 AM in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours will be on Saturday, Nov. 6th, from 10:00 AM until the service.
