Therese Perreault, 57
FLORIDA, Mass. — There are some people who, despite all odds, bring warmth and happiness into the life of anyone they meet. Therese Perreault, beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, who passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 16, 2021, was one of those people.
Therese was born on Sept. 1, 1964, and spent her early years in Florida attending Gabriel Abbott Memorial School and Drury High School. As a teen, she enjoyed Chess Club, spending time with her dear friend, Lynn Burdick, and achieved academic honors in her own ever-matching, ever-fashionable way. Therese attended Salem State College and met two people who would change her life – her partner John Lewalski and her life-long friend Beverly Kozlosky.
After college, Therese and John stayed in the Salem area where Therese worked at AVNET as a customer service rep and they welcomed their only child, Billy. The family then moved to Orlando, FL, where Therese and John were able to watch Billy grow and meet the love of his life, Karina. Billy and Karina gave Therese the most beloved gift of all, her grandson, Zachary. Therese found a way to find joy in her life every day, whether it was basking in the Florida sun, looking at the beautiful fabrics at Joann's, or spending time with her family.
Therese was predeceased by her father, William A. Perreault, life partner, John, brother, William P. Perreault, and sister, Denise Perreault. She leaves behind many people who will miss her smile and positivity - mother, Claire Perreault, son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Karina Lewalski, grandson, Zachary, siblings Marc Perreault, Michelle and Bruce Cady, Diane and Ronnie DiLego, her friend, Beverly, and many loving nieces and nephews.
One of the most important things to Therese was ensuring that her grandson, Zachary, would get a good education. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Zachary's education fund: https://gofund.me/825091b9
