Williamstown – The Fund for Sustaining Educational Excellence (SEE Fund) has released the 2007 Application for grant funds. Due to good returns on the investments, the SEE Fund has almost two times the grant funds available for distribution as last year.
The SEE Fund was established in 1996 with support from Williams College, the Williamstown Savings Bank, Storey Communications, and private gifts. Over the past 10 years, the SEE Fund has awarded approximately 60 grants, totaling more than $90,000, which have been used to enhance the educational opportunities for students at the school.
The next round of SEE Fund grants will be made in September 2007. The deadline for filing the application is April 1, 2007. Applications for the funds are now available in the office of Superintendent William Travis and on-line at www.mgrhs.org. Applications also are available at the Milne Library in Williamstown, the Lanesborough library, and at Town Hall in Lanesborough and Williamstown. Inquiries about the SEE Fund should be directed to the Superintendent’s Office at Mt. Greylock (458-8592, Ext. 149). A SEE Fund representative will respond.
