Williamstown- New parents and their little ones are warmly invited to "escape into art" during the New Parents Gallery Talk series at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute. The final talk of this free series will be held on Fri., March 2 at 10:15 a.m..
Mothers and fathers, along with their babies and small children, will be treated to a relaxing hour with a Clark curator discovering and discussing a variety of art objects in the collection. The talks are most appropriate for parents with pre-toddlers.
The New Parents Gallery Talks are scheduled to resume in November.
Strollers are available; parents may also bring their own strollers or carry their children in the galleries. To ensure the safety of the works of art, backpack-style infant carriers are not permitted in the galleries. Front-hanging carriers are welcome.
The Clark is located at 225 South Street in Williamstown. The galleries are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm (daily in July and August). Admission is free November through May. Admission June 1 through October 31 is $12.50 for adults, free for children 18 and younger, members, and students with valid ID.
