The Elements and Free Trial To Perform At Simon's Rock

The Elements

Great Barrington – Two a cappella groups will perform at Simon's Rock College of Bard on Sunday, December 17 at 3 p.m.. The performance will take place in the Kellogg Music Center. The concert will be free and open to the public.

Free Trial, the Simon's Rock a cappella group,is made up of nine
people.

The group explores a wide range of musical genres, and have performed for the Singing Bee in Stockbridge, a Stockbridge Library benefit and the Coral-o-Rama at Berkshire School.

The group has also competed in the International Championship of High School A Cappella hosted at Simon’s Rock, and hosted numerous open concerts.

In addition to Free Trial, The Elements, a semi-professional group from Boston, will also be performing. With five voices, that group strives to “explore the core elements of music - sound and rhythms - at their most basic state, where it's all about feeling and soul.”
