Friday Night Crash At Drury Remains Under Investigation

North Adams - Police are releasing few details about a Dec. 8 one-vehicle accident that sent a pick-up truck and its occupants crashing through roadside rails along the Drury High School driveway.
The vehicle then plunged over and down a steep embankment. The truck was leaving the school when the crash occurred.
According to a city police log, the crash was reported at 8:59 p.m..
An investigation into the accident is ongoing and no details of the accident are expected to be released until the investigation is completed, said police Sgt. Robert Baker earlier today.
According to the police log, Dean's Quality Auto Service towed a red 1998 Toyota truck owned by 20-year-old Bruce Grandchamp of 134 Oak Hill from the scene. Grandchamp was listed on the police documents as the driver at the time of the crash.
Listed on police documents as "involved" are Matthew Simpson, 15, of North Adams and 15-year-old Michael Schnopps, also of North Adams.
No injuries were reported at the crash scene, according to police documents.
