Superior Court Briefs: November 19 - November 20

Cases heard before Judge John Agostini on Monday, November 19.

Billie Jangrow, 41, of Adams had not guilty pleas entered on her behalf on seven counts of illegal possession of a firearm, seven counts of larceny of a firearm,, five counts of breaking and entering in the daytime, four counts of conspiracy, to wit: breaking and entering in the daytime, two counts of forgery of a check, two counts of uttering a false check and single counts of larceny over $250 ongoing and continuing offense from a person over the age of 60 and receiving stolen property.

Jangrow was released on $500 bail. The charges stem from house breaks in Cheshire between April 13 and Aug. 31.

Richard Rathbun, 43, of Pittsfield had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on single counts of burglary with assault on an occupant, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.

He was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $25,000 bail. Rathbun allegedly broke into the home of a man who is now 50-years-old and once inside assaulted the victim. The incident allegedly occurred in Pittsfield on March 25, 1995.

Jason Rivera, 35, of Pittsfield had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on single counts of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine - his second offense - possession of a firearm with prior convictions for violent or serious drug offenses, illegal possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card and improper storage of a firearm.

He was released on $5,000 cash or $10,000 surety bail. The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at his home on Sept. 13.

Roy Owen Dilley, 40, of Adams had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on two counts of illegal possession of a firearm, two counts of receiving stolen property over $250 and single counts of breaking and entering in the daytime, larceny of a firearm and conspiracy, to wit: breaking and entering in the daytime

He was released on personal recognizance. The charges stem from a house break in Cheshire on April 18.

James Bannister, 40, of Becket had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on 19 counts of knowingly possession visual material of a child depicted in sexual conduct and five counts of dissemination of visual material of a child in a state of nudity or sexual conduct.

 He was released on personal recognizance. Bannister allegedly possessed child pornography between December 23, 2010 and March 23, 2011.
