Mount Greylock Downs Hoosac Valley

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Kelsey MacHaffie went 4-for-5 with a double and three RBIs Saturday to lead the Mount Greylock softball team to a 23-12 win over Hoosac Valley.
 
The Mounties pounded out 23 hits and benefited from seven Hoosac Valley errors in winning their third straight game.
 
Five different Mounties had three hits apiece. Malia Koffie was 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs.
 
Mila Marcisz was 3-for-6 with a triple. And Cayleigh Kiernan and Kayleigh Jaros each doubled.
 
For Hoosac Valley, Gracelyn Wright and Izabella Tart each had three hits.
 
Hoosac Valley (9-2) is at Ludlow on Tuesday.
 
Mount Greylock (5-6) goes to Lee on Monday.
