NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Ryleigh Rathbun went 3-for-3 with a double, and the McCann Tech softball team Monday avenged Friday’s one-run loss at Ludlow, beating the Lions, 11-10.

Rathbun drove in three runs in a nine-hit attack for the Hornets.

Khloe Vanuni went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI, and Paige Meyette and Emily Raschdorf each drove in a pair of runs.

Ludlow rallied for four runs in the top of the seventh inning, but McCann Tech pitcher Alexis Lemanski got the final out on a ground ball to leave the tying run on first base.

Lemanski and Emma Lemire split time in the circle, striking out eight between them.

McCann Tech (4-3) goes to Mount Everett on Wednesday.
