SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Heyden Cutlip went 2-for-4 with a triple, and Sean Warren went the distance on the mound Friday to lead the Mount Everett baseball team to an 11-5 win over Franklin Tech.

Ian Lanoue was 2-for-2 with a pair of walks, and Michael Ullrich and Jacob Kreis each doubled in a 10-hit attack for the Eagles, who broke the game open with a five-run third inning to take a 7-1 lead.

“We started out a little flat today, which I was afraid of, especially since this was our fourth game in four days,” Mount Everett coach Dan Lanoue said. “But we woke up in the third and opened up the game. Sean Warren pitched a great game going the distance.

“Sean going the distance will help us out for next week. We again, due to rain outs, will play four games next week.”

Warren struck out six, walked none and allowed just three earned runs in the win.

Mount Everett (6-4) hosts Smith Academy on Monday.
