Charles W. Daniels Sr., 64

PITTSFIELD, Mass. - Charles Wallace Daniels Sr., 64, of Pittsfield, Mass., died Saturday, December 14, 2019, at his home.

He was born in Pittsfield, Mass., on July 24, 1955, son of Perry Frederick Daniels and Ada F. (Barton) Daniels. He attended schools in Lee and Pittsfield.

Charlie was last employed by Laborer’s Union Local #473 for about 10 years. He enjoyed working on cars.

Survivors include his wife, Laurie Jean (Kirchner) Daniels, whom he married on  February 21, 1992; one daughter, Megan Daniels; one son, Joseph Ramirez of Pittsfield; 16 grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Phillips and Mary Goodell, both of Pittsfield; two brothers, Perry Daniels and Joseph Daniels, both of Pittsfield; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son, Nicholas Daniels on July 11, 2015; and two brothers and one sister, Dorothy Bliss, William Baker and John Baker.

Funeral notice: The Funeral for Charles Wallace Daniels Sr. will be Friday, December 20, 2019, at 11 a.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St., Pittsfield, Mass., with Rabbi David Weiner, spiritual leader of Congregation Knesset Israel officiating. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
