Hotchkiss Philharmonic Season Fnale

The Hotchkiss Philharmonic's finale is "Vive la France!" performed in the Katherine M Elfers Hall of the Esther Eastman Music Center at The Hotchkiss School, 11 Interlaken Road, Lakeville Conn. It will feature pianists Fabio and Gisele Witkowski performing Poulenc's Concerto for Two Pianos in D Minor and maestro Vahan Mardirossian. The program will also include Berlioz's Marche Hongroise, and Saint Saëns' Danse Macabre, Le Déluge, and Danse Bacchanale. The concert is free and open to the public; no ticket reservations are necessary. Seating is first come, first served.

Five-time Grammy Award winner Ladysmith Black Mambazo performs at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center. The South African musical group came to prominence in Paul Simon's 1987 "Graceland" album and has since performed for millions around the world. Their 2024 release is "Soothe My Soul…Songs From Our South African Church," in which the group puts their own spin on gospel music.
