Aaron and Ashley had been together almost 6 years at the time and had been talking about getting married for quite some time. So one day they decided to go buy their wedding rings together. Aaron, of course, still wanted to be able to ask Ashley the right way, so on the night Ashley's ring arrived, he took her out to a wonderful dinner (without her knowing the ring came in) and he "officially" asked her to marry him. It turned out to work and was great, Ashley was completely taken by suprise.
