On New Year's Eve during the downtown celebration in Northampton, Mass., Nate got down on one knee in the middle of the crowd just a few seconds before midnight and asked Julie to marry him! He presented her with a gorgeous antique white-gold and 1/2 carat diamond ring (circa 1930s). Julie very gladly accepted.
