Blandford Paving, Guardrail Repair Operations on I-90 Westbound

BLANDFORD, Mass. — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that paving and guardrail repair operations will require the closure of the truck climbing lane on I-90 westbound, between mile marker 33.6 and mile marker 35.6 in Blandford. 
 
The closure will be in place beginning on Friday, Oct. 25, and will remain in place until work is completed by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29. Two lanes of traffic will remain open at all times.
 
Drivers traveling through the area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
 
Appropriate signage and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
 
All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.

South County Road Work

WEST STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing lane closures on I-90 eastbound and westbound for traffic marking, rumble strips, bridge repair, and guardrail work. 
 
The work will take place from Monday, Oct. 28, through Friday, Nov. 1, during nighttime hours.
 
The schedule and locations are as follows:
 
Otis/Blandford
  • Traffic marking operations and rumble strip work will be conducted on I-90 westbound from mile marker 21.0 to 27.0, Monday night, Oct. 28, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., with work concluding by 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, Oct. 29.
  • Traffic marking operations and rumble strip work will be conducted on I-90 eastbound from mile marker 21.0 to 27.0, Tuesday night, Oct. 29, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., with work concluding by 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, Oct. 30.
  • Bridge repair work will be conducted on I-90 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 22.5, Monday night, Oct. 28, through Thursday night, Oct. 31, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night, with work concluding by 5:30 a.m. on Friday morning, Nov. 1.
Blandford
  • Bridge repair work will be conducted on I-90 westbound at mile marker 26.1, Wednesday night, Oct. 30, through Thursday night, Oct. 31, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night, with work concluding by 5:30 a.m. on Friday morning, Nov. 1.
  • Bridge repair work will be conducted on I-90 eastbound and westbound from mile marker 28.6 to 30.0, Thursday night, Oct. 31, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., with work concluding by 5:30 a.m. on Friday morning, Nov. 1.
Becket
  • Bridge repair work will be conducted on I-90 westbound from mile marker 17.0 to 17.6, Tuesday night, Oct. 29, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., with work concluding by 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, Oct. 30.
Stockbridge/West Stockbridge
  • Guardrail and bridge repair work will be conducted on I-90 eastbound from mile marker 0.8 to 3.0, Monday night, Oct. 28, through Thursday night, Oct. 31, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night, with work concluding by 5:30 a.m. on Friday morning, Nov. 1.
  • Bridge repair work will be conducted on I-90 westbound from mile marker 2.5 to 3.0, Monday night, Oct. 28, through Thursday night, Oct. 31, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night, with work concluding by 5:30 a.m. on Friday morning, Nov. 1.
  • Guardrail work will be conducted on I-90 eastbound from mile marker 3.8 to 7.0, Monday night, Oct. 28, through Thursday night, Oct. 31, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night, with work concluding by 5:30 a.m. on Friday morning, Nov. 1. 
 
Appropriate signage, traffic control devices, and messaging will be available to assist drivers through the detour route.
