The North Adams SteepleCats Thursday dropped a pair of road games in two different cities as the New England Collegiate Baseball League tries to get its schedule back on track after a number of rainouts.
At noon, the 'Cats played at the Mystic, Conn., Schooners, who scored a run in the bottom of the ninth for a 3-2, walkoff win.
Jack Reynolds went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for North Adams. Julien Hernandez went 5 and one-third innings on the mound, striking out five in a no decision.
On Thursday night, the Bristol, Conn., Blues beat the SteepleCats, 12-1.
Hudson Polk drove in a run, and Gehrig Ebel doubled for North Adams.
The SteepleCats (8-22) are scheduled to host Danbury for a double-header on Friday starting at 3 p.m.
