VINEYARD HAVEN, Mass. -- Kyle Hannon hit a three-run home run in the top of the eighth to give the SteepleCats an 8-6 lead, and North Adams went on to a 12-8 win over the Martha's Vineyard Sharks in New England Collegiate Baseball League on Wednesday night.

 

Hannon went 3-for-5 in the SteepleCats' third straight win.

 

Tremayne Cobb also went 3-for-5 with a home run and a double.

 

Samuel Tackett and D.M. Jefferson each doubled, and Taconic High graduate Cedric Rose went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBIs.

 

Five different North Adams pitchers combined on the win on the mound.

 

Jagger Jefferis was credited with the win after striking out the side in one inning of work.

 

North Adams (4-12) travels to play White River Junction, Vt., on Friday to play Upper Valley.
