State Treasurer Reappoints Deputy Treasurers

Boston — Treasurer Deborah B. Goldberg announced the reappointment of the following people as deputy treasurers:
 
James MacDonald, First Deputy Treasurer: As CEO of the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA), Jim MacDonald has served as First Deputy Treasurer since 2011.
 
Sarah Kim, Deputy Treasurer: As General Counsel to the Office of the State Treasurer and Receiver General, Sarah Kim has served as Deputy Treasurer since 2017.
 
Alayna Van Tassel, Deputy Treasurer: As the Executive Director of the Office of Economic Empowerment, Alayna Van Tassel has served as Deputy Treasurer since 2015.
 
Sue Perez, Deputy Treasurer: As the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust and overseeing the Commonwealth’s Debt department, Sue Perez has served as Deputy Treasurer since 2017.
 
These appointments highlight the Treasurer’s commitment to an agenda of fiscal responsibility and economic empowerment for citizens and communities across the Commonwealth.

The Nutcracker At The Colonial Theater

PITTSFIELD, Mass.— Albany Berkshire Ballet announced that tickets are now on sale for its 50th annual production of "The Nutcracker," to be presented at The Colonial Theater, on Dec. 7 and 8.
 
The ballet will feature two performances on Dec. 7 at 1:30 pm and 5:00 pm as well as one performance on Dec. 8 at 1 pm.
