Friends of Friends of Freiheit Click here for more information. "Friends of Friends of Freiheit" continues the narrative of the 24 Eagle Street pop-up gallery originally named Friends of Freiheit. Video, sculptural and 2D works programmed by Matthew Lax will be on display. Initially five artists were contacted and in a fashion similar to a chain letter, friends of artists were added to the growing roster of work to be shown in the space. For one night only, works will be on view and a small party will follow. Artists include Dan Creahan, Jen Chan, Katie Micak, Graham Hamilton, Christina Kolosvary, Evan Paschke, and others. |

North Adams Motorama! Click here for the Facebook invite. Motorama! is back for its second year in North Adams. Main, Holden, and Eagle Streets will be closed to all but pedestrian traffic as downtown North Adams fills with hundreds of cars, trucks, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and tractors. This vehicle show offers fun for everyone. Attendees can enjoy music, 50/50 raffles, food, shopping, and stunt motorcycle driving performances by Luke "Duke" Emmons. Main Street Stage's Backyard Tour of King Stag Click here for more information. The family-friendly, 50 minute show will include puppets, music, comedy, stilt walking, masks, and magic. The play, loosely based on the scenario by Carlo Gozzi and adapted for the stage by Kelli Newby and David Lane, follows the story of King Deramo's search for a queen which is complicated by true love, betrayal, mistaken identity, comedy, and, of course, magic. |
