Some residents received an "alarming" notice from the Water Department about the possibility of lead pipes or solder in some homes, but officials assured them not to worry.
Demographics were a concern for the researchers, who worked hard to reach out to marginalized members of the community but still ended up with a respondent pool that was less diverse than the town's population according to census data.
The study will be reformatted to include the general public and will be reopening for the summer. Once released, there will be outreach to generate as many responses as possible.
