Tanley Drake Leads Mounties to Holiday Tournament Title

TURNERS FALLS, Mass. – Tanley Drake Friday scored 16 points to lead the Mount Greylock girls basketball team to a 54-28 win over Franklin Tech in the championship game of the Eagles Holiday Classic.

 

Drake, who also scored 16 in the season-opener on Thursday, was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player.

 

The Mounties’ Madi Powell was named to the all-tournament team after scoring 12 in Friday’s final.

 

Madison Drake also scored 12 against the host Eagles.

 

Mount Greylock (2-0) hosts Belchertown on Tuesday.
