Wahconah Boys Earn Pair of Wins
SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Noah Wesley led a 1-2-3 finish for the Wahconah boys cross country team as it picked up a pair of dual meet wins on Wednesday at Mount Everett.
Wesley finished in 17 minutes, 45 seconds, eight seconds ahead of teammate Fritz Sanders. Cadighan Gladu gave Wahconah a podium sweep.
Ben Vella of the host Eagles placed fourth to be the only non-Wahconah runner int he top six as Wahconah beat Mount Everett and Monument Mountain.
Wahconah's girls split, getting a win over the Eagles but falling to Monument Mountain.
Ameilia Desilets and Myah Baily finished 1-2 for the Spartans, separated by just one second.
The Spartan girls took the top six places, before Wahconah's Megan Tucker and Matty Beatty finished seventh and eighth, respectively.
Mount Everett's Abby Reiners placed 10th.
