DALTON, Mass. – Tim Kaley carded a 1-over 36 on the front nine at Wahconah Country Club to lead the Wahconah golf team to a 154-178 win over Taconic on Tuesday.

“We stretched the course out tonight and played the Black tees,” Wahconah coach Pete Terpak said. “Our team handled the length just fine. Tim Kaley did what he has done all year, play solid. Tim eagled the par-5 seventh hole en route to a 1 over par 36 and medalist honors.”

Sam McLaughlin had the day’s other birdie for Wahconah on the par-3 sixth hole.

“The story of the night for me was Carter Drake shooting 37,” Terpak said. “Carter and I have been working the last three or four practices on his putting, and it paid dividends right away. He put in the work and tonight was a positive sign we're on to something. Proud of him.”

Mitch Hall carded a 40 to lead the Thunder.
