Lee Bowlers Stay Perfect on Season

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Maddie Kotek and Jaden Parks led the Lee bowling team to a 3-0 win over Pittsfield and a commanding lead in the league standings at King Pins on Friday afternoon.
 
Kotek rolled the best game (190) and best two-game series (361) among the league's girls. Her teammate Devyn Fillio was just behind her with a 181 game and a 322 series.
 
Parks rolled a 224 game that was second-best in the league on Friday and a 380 series to help the Wildcats' cause as Lee stayed perfect on the year with 3-0 wins in its first three matches.
 
Pittsfield was led by Matt Dupuis, who rolled a 237 game and 419 series, both best on the day, and raised his league-leading season average to 208.
 
Friday's other two matches were split decisions.
 
Drury picked up its first two points of the season with a 2-1 win over Monument Mountain.
 
Zachary Mongeon led the Blue Devils with a 211 game and a 394 series that was second only to Dupuis.
 
Taconic took a 2-1 win from McCann Tech in the third match of the day.
 
Luzis Brown led the Thunder with a 187 game. Alyssa Smith and Abby Bliss turned in games of 158 and 156, respectively, for Taconic.
 
McCann Tech was led by Ryder Lefebvre with a 362 series.
 
The league returns to action on Thursday when it makes its first stop of the season at K&M Bowling in Pittsfield.
